Happy Weekend! 

We have Valentine's Day coming up on Monday. ❤️ 

Earlier today, I sent out an email to parents about students handing out Valentine's cards. Students can hand out Valentine's cards to our 19 students on Monday. Please have your child sign the cards with their names only, not the names of others. This will make the handing out process a lot smoother! 

Your child may bring a special snack to enjoy on Monday. We will not be sharing snacks at this time.

 Happy Friday! We had an awesome walk in Fish Creek Park today for our first field trip! The weather turned out to be beautiful and sunny and we enjoyed spending the day in nature! A special thanks to the lovely parent volunteers who joined us.   School Council is hosting an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 23, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Woodlands School parking lot. Come by and enjoy some ice cream with your friends from school! This event is FREE!

We had another fun day in Kindergarten!  Today we watched the grade three assembly about deforestation, practiced showing number 10 in many different ways, went to the gym, and had centres.  Next Monday is Valentines Day. Your child may bring in valentines for the class. Please only have your child sign their name, but not write the other students' names on it. We will distribute them to the students on Monday! "We did the pumpkin poem!"-Carter "We played with the light table!"-Eric "We played with the blocks!"-Jaylen "We played with the crane!"-Kyson "We learned about pumpkin seeds and how pumpkins grow!"-Wyatt On Friday, we will be celebrating Halloween. Your child may come to school dressed up. We will not be handing out candy to our friends. Please make sure the costumes are school appropriate and that kids do not bring any weapons to school.  LOVE ROOM 2 🎃 🧡
